The Nike Pro line was launched in 2003 as an evolution of the technical base layers the brand had been developing since the 1980s. Harnessing lightweight, breathable materials with enhanced moisture management and temperature regulation capabilities, these offered comfortable support through any training session. In early 2021, Nike released a complementary collection called the Pro 365 which focuses on eco-friendly design and body-hugging support for female athletes.
Nike Pro 365 clothing is made from soft, smooth, stretchy fabrics that provide a close, comfortable fit and compressive support without inhibiting the body’s natural range of motion. Integrated Dri-FIT technology delivers efficient sweat-wicking, working with the quick-drying material to effectively manage moisture, while a significant percentage of each garment incorporates recycled polyester fibres for maximum sustainability.
The Pro 365 collection features a carefully chosen set of apparel including shorts, leggings and sports bras. Each has its own distinctive design details, from the snug, soft jacquard elastic chest band of the non-padded sports bra and the cooling mesh panels on the calves of the leggings to the curved seams of the 20cm shorts, which fit comfortably over the natural shape of the body for a distraction-free experience. Wide elastic waistbands are a common element of the shorts and leggings, giving coverage, security and support through the core to make workouts easy and comfortable.
