Nike’s running apparel is some of the most advanced in the industry. In late 2024, the brand announced Nike Stride: a new set of performance sportswear made specifically for men.

Each Stride garment features lightweight, streamlined fabrics equipped with the latest airflow solutions to ensure maximum comfort. These include Dri-FIT and Dri-FIT ADV, whose outstanding sweat-wicking capabilities keep the wearer dry, and innovative Aero-FIT technology, whose high-crimp material facilitates the free movement of air across the skin’s surface and thus further enhances breathability. Nike has also worked on areas such as fit and finish, with ergonomic shapes designed to feel good and look good as well as reflective details that are both practical and eye-catching. Adjusted hemlines include vents that allow unrestricted movement while increasing the cooling effect, anti-cling materials and minimal seam lines reduce chafing, and smart storage options with moisture-proof linings ensure there is ample room for large phones and running essentials.

The Nike Stride collection launched in January 2025 with several essential items for runners. Alongside the T-shirt, ½-zip top, shorts and trousers was a Repel jacket which built on the heritage of the brand’s classic 1970s Windrunner. Key features include an integrated UV protection, a water-repellent finish, breathable vents, mesh-lined pockets, free-moving, chafe-reducing raglan sleeves and an adjustable hood. It even packs away into a small, travel-friendly pocket for maximum portability and convenience.

Since then, Nike has only increased the number of Stride offerings, adding everything from stretchy tights and soft-knit tank tops to lightweight mid layers with practical thumbholes and brief-lined shorts made using durable Ripstop fabrics. The collection has also been expanded to kids, with options such as the Repel UV training jacket, which protects children from both UVA and UVB rays.
