A bottom-loaded Zoom Air unit increases responsiveness and shock-absorption at the heel, while the thin forefoot cushioning ensures solid court feel. Raised sidewalls on the midsole and outsole work with the lateral forefoot outrigger to stabilise the foot, and traction comes from rows of tightly packed, tooth-like rubber nubs covering the entire outsole. Lastly, the lack of a shank plate allows maximum flexibility for nimble, unrestricted movement.
