At the beginning of the new millennium, Nike launched a lightweight, streamlined running shoe known as the Air Superfly. Although designed for racing, it was also stylish, leading to its return as a popular women’s sneaker in 2025. One year later, Nike crafted an even more laidback version of the silhouette: the Air Superfly Moc.

The upper of the Nike Air Superfly Moc is made from either plush suede or premium leather, with rows of large ventilation ports along each flank for lightweight breathability. Its laceless construction incorporates a stretchy, neoprene-like instep that allows the foot to comfortably slip into the shoe and gently holds it in place during movement. Lastly, the slim, low-profile collar keeps weight down while also giving incredible flexibility around the ankle.

Underfoot, the Air Superfly Moc features a supportive foam midsole with encapsulated Nike Air cushioning for outstanding comfort and shock-absorption. It curves upwards at the rearfoot to cradle and protect the heel, while its full-length rubber outsole has a variety of tread patterns and a collection of rounded forefoot nodes that provide excellent traction from heel to toe. 

Like its predecessors, the Air Superfly Moc has a minimalist aesthetic that combines retro sporty vibes with balletic elegance. Its branding effects are stylishly subtle, with a refined Swoosh embroidered into the lateral heel and a set of Air lettering etched into the midsole below. The dynamic tread adds a touch of charisma underfoot, its rubberised forefoot nodes paying homage to the silhouette’s rich athletic heritage.
