In 2000, Nike‘s ACG line launched a sturdy hiking boot to rival popular Y2K workwear. Known as the Nike Air Max Goadome, it was adopted as a hybrid sneaker-boot by outdoor enthusiasts and sneaker fans alike. In 2025, Nike released new versions of the Goadome, leading to a strong revival for the outdoor-ready silhouette.

The Air Max Goadome’s upper is made of premium leather, with structured panelling held together by dual lines of stitching for extra durability. Perforated zones on the collar and sides add a touch of breathability, the roomy toe box accommodates a variety of foot types, and the padded, high-cut collar offers snug, warming comfort as it protects the ankles. Reinforced metal eyelets form the foundation of the robust lacing setup, which works with the gusseted tongue to secure the foot firmly in place.

Supporting the Nike Air Max Goadome is a powerful foam midsole with shock-absorbing Air Max cushioning in the forefoot and heel. It offers the wearer a stout, stable platform, and its board-lasted construction makes it even tougher. Lastly, the full-length rubber outsole has a rugged tread with deep lugs that provide incredible traction across harsh terrain and city streets.

With its stacked sole and smooth leather upper, the Air Max Goadome is both sleek and sophisticated. Despite its muscular build, it also delivers elegance through a set of minimalist branding effects that include a small lateral Swoosh as well as Air and ACG lettering on the tongue and midsole, while some versions feature luxurious materials such as pony leather for an even more refined finish. See-through windows punctuate the length of the sole, giving the silhouette that classic Air Max look.

Nike first launched the Goadome in 2000, but it has been brought back multiple times over the years. A stunning Supreme collaboration in 2021 added a stylish snakeskin pattern to the upper, while rapper Yeat punctuated his edition with rebellious metal studs. This release coincided with a revival in late 2025 that returned the Goadome to prominence once more. A few months later, Nike introduced a classy low-top version which was involved in a distinctive collaboration with car-culture-inspired streetwear label Taller de Rafa in autumn 2026. Around the same time, a new high-top with an abrasion-resistant TecTuff upper was released alongside several faux snakeskin low-tops that broadened the scope of the collection with bright tones like pink and yellow.
