A’ja Wilson’s Nike signature series launched in 2025 with a versatile silhouette that the Las Vegas Aces star wore to win her third WNBA title. In doing so, she became the first person to earn the league top-scorer, MVP, Finals MVP and Defensive Player of the Year awards in the same season, setting a solid foundation for its successor, the Nike A’Two.

The A’Two has a durable moulded synthetic leather upper with foot-conforming properties that deliver a snug, personalised fit. Together with the robust external heel counter, it centres, stabilises and contains the foot, facilitating precise, powerful movement. The quilted toe box and collar add a soft touch, while medial cutouts expose perforated fabric that offers cooling ventilation. Breathable mesh covers the lower tongue, with a convenient heel pull and a supportive lacing system for durable lockdown.

The Nike A’Two’s upgraded sole features layered cushioning designed to give springy power and comfort. Its cushy midsole is filled with responsive, shock-absorbing Cushlon 3.0 foam, while an articulated Zoom Air unit brings a propulsive feel to the forefoot. A TPU midfoot shank provides torsional rigidity, enhancing control and stability, the herringbone tread delivers outstanding traction to keep the player steady and balanced, and curved grooves in the rubber outsole allow natural flexion of the foot.

Everything about the A’Two’s stylish aesthetic evokes fluidity, from the rippling contours flowing across the flanks to the wavy medial bars and the undulating lines etched into the midsole. Mismatched Swooshes decorate the sidewalls, and the striking heel counter stands out boldly at the rearfoot, with Wilson’s Star logo punctuating the tongue. The trademark star motif is also embroidered into the forefoot to encourage the wearer to be the hero in their own story, while the pearl theme fondly honours her grandmother. Other custom  details include A’ja’s signature on the insole and a replica of one of her tattoo’s behind the tongue, which acts as a reminder to face challenges with strength and bravery.

A’ja unveiled the A’Two during the Paris leg of her first Nike global tour, when she appeared in a short video with the Eiffel Tower in the background as a waiter delivered her the A’Pink launch colourway on a silver platter. She also starred in a lighthearted film of the fictional ‘A’ja Wilson Show’ opposite Senior Product Manager London Johnson, who explained its technical features before Wilson gave a translation in more basketball-friendly language. This boosted the May 2026 release of the A’Two, which led to a series of storytelling colourways such as the shimmering silver ‘Mirrored’, which references her exalted status within the WNBA, the ‘Pinkies Up’, whose bright colours are an homage to her supportive college sorority, and the ‘Standing Ovation’ – a striking celebration of the league’s 30th anniversary.
