This tennis-inspired Gel-Kayano 14 is the result of an expertly crafted collaboration between ASICS and French ready-to-wear label A.P.C. The Parisian brand’s founder, Jean Touitou, wanted to design a sneaker that honours vintage sportswear while also being eminently wearable, so he created a luxurious version of the historic running shoe with a classic look. Rich purple tones of Midnight and Indigo Fog spread across its asymmetric mesh and leather upper, while shiny streaks of metallic silver punctuate the ASICS stripes and midsole Gel. Plush suede accents elevate the shoe, and its stylish details subtly blend the logos of both brands.
