Sleek black tumbled leather covers the upper of this AF1 Luxe, while large lugs and a jagged tread on the Gum Yellow outsole give it a boot-like sturdiness. The black midsole, with large Air lettering in its heel, is wider at the bottom so that a ridge runs all the way around it, creating a layered aesthetic. Within this narrower top part, there is a groove with Bucktan stitching sewn inside. While most of the upper is black, Bucktan highlights can be seen in the form of an embroidered swoosh in the bottom of the eyestay along with a pair of reinforced eyelets at its other end. Round laces make the shoe easy to secure, and shiny metal aglets cap their ends for a luxurious feel. Alongside the tumbled leather panels are smooth sections through the dual-layered swooshes and the heel panel, which has been debossed with a small swoosh. Indented Nike text also appears in the tongue, while further branding adorns the black insole in Bucktan. Finally, delicate stitching effects further stylise the design, skirting the edges of each overlay with precision and care.
