Nike Air Force 1 '07 LX

This Air Force 1 ‘07 LX honours an earlier Nike release while maintaining the classic look of the AF1 silhouette. Coconut Milk shading brings a pleasant creamy tone to the sole unit, while Gorge Green Air lettering highlights its lateral heel. Attention is drawn to this capitalised word via a pair of bold Gorge Green lines, one of which wraps around the back of the heel. Inside the midsole, Air cushioning mixes with a bed of soft foam to provide comfort to the wearer, and underfoot, circular grip formations add traction.

The upper is mostly made from high-quality tumbled leather, Summit White covering the forefoot, midfoot panels and rear overlay. Gorge Green swooshes bring a powerful contrast to the flanks, before reaching back to meet at a Summit White heel panel debossed with the word “Nike” in a compelling heritage font. This word also exhibits Gorge Green tones, something that is a theme across the sneaker, with the word “Force” appearing in the same colour on the Summit White tongue. This references an early-90s sneaker known as the Air Command Force, as does the branding on the Summit White insoles, which displays “Nike” on the left foot and “Force” on the right, once again in Gorge Green.

Over the top of the foot, the suede eyestay has been decorated in a soft beige hue with white laces threaded through it. The uppermost eyelets are bolstered by rings of Gorge Green metal, while at the opposite end a silver lace lock holds the laces in place. On the left foot, this oval-shaped dubrae has been etched with Nike text, and on the right it has Force lettering. Below each, there is a Gorge Green swoosh imprinted into the eyestay. Final splashes of this rich green tone cover the padded collar and inner lining to complete the sneaker’s retro look.
