Nike Air 180 x Apron Records

This bold Air 180 is the debut collaboration between Nike and Steven Julien’s London-based label, Apron Records. Launched at a trendy Soho event following appearances in Julien’s music videos and social media posts, it pays homage to his aunt’s salon, where the inventive DJ developed his passion for music. This is reflected in the lustrous chrome panelling, inspired by the salon’s chairs, the vintage photos on the packaging and the razor-shaped lace dubrae. These contrast the shoe’s Dark Atomic Teal and Off Noir hues, while Alabaster animal-print Swooshes and vibrant yellow details add further tonal dimensions. Fuzzy suede, premium leather and faux lizard skin panels bring textural diversity, with stylish Apron branding completing the sneaker’s eclectic aesthetic in an inspirational celebration of culture and community.
