This Nike Air Force 1 Low x Off-White™ has been made with extremely soft materials, making it perfect for a toddler’s feet. On top of this, it has an all-over Volt finish that creates a dynamic look. This lime green tone covers the whole of the rubber sole, which has a smooth underside that has been printed with black ringed patterns to emulate the grip lines normally seen on larger AF1 shoes. The word “Nike” has also been printed in black upon the lateral heel of the midfoot.

Elsewhere on the design, there are more examples of offbeat text in Virgil Abloh’s trademark Helvetica font. Firstly, the word “Shoelaces” features in black across the bottom part of the Volt-coloured laces, which thread through a dark green suede eyestay. The same material forms the heel panel, which is unattached along its bottom edge and has been imprinted with a Nike swoosh below the word “Logo”. Underneath this section, the rear overlay has been reduced in size to reveal a half circle of textured fabric. The overlay itself has a criss-cross pattern on its surface that is repeated on the forefoot mudguard and the tongue. Meanwhile, the perforated toe box and the lateral midfoot panel are both made of a tight mesh, and the medial midfoot comes in smooth leather.

Additional branding appears on the shoe’s insole, where two black box shapes can be seen. One of them has a well-known Off-White™ logo that is made up of a pair of criss-crossing lines with arrows at each tip, while the other holds the name of Abloh’s first collaborative shoe collection with Nike – The Ten. Above this, the tongue has a white label affixed to its lateral side with Nike branding in black and an orange swoosh. The only other use of this vivid tone is on the small tag that sticks out from the underside of the lateral sidewall swoosh.

Both flanks contain a large Nike logo, each one made from textured black fabric and attached using zigzag Volt stitching to add a lively edge to the sides of the shoe. While the lateral one has its orange tag, the medial one obscures a set of black text that includes the date the very first AF1 design was released – 1982. This radiant sneaker is completed with a pale blue leather tag that includes the names of both companies in neatly typed white lettering for a stylish touch.
