Nike Air Force 1 '07

These Nike Air Force 1 ‘07s are clad in a grayscale colour scheme that exudes style and elegance. Providing the foundation for this design is a powerful black outsole with two sets of circular grip patterns, one emanating out under the heel, the other below the forefoot. Resting atop this is a white midsole with a pleasantly textured exterior and an Air-cushioned interior. The presence of this plush padding is highlighted by the bold, black Air lettering embossed into the lateral heel, which has a raised white line emerging either side of it to wrap around the back of the foot.

On the upper, the same colour palette continues, with white covering the majority of the premium tumbled leather. As well as white overlays in the forefoot and heel, there is a wavy-edged eyestay with an artfully embroidered black swoosh in its toe end. The midfoot panels feature a grid of microperforations that are much smaller than those in the toe box, bringing breathability to the sides of the foot. Further comfort is provided by the mesh tongue, which has a branded patch with text on its surface that comes in two tones – Nike Air is written in black and Air Force 1 in Photon Dust below a swoosh of the same colour. The rim of the tongue is also Photon Dust, as is the interior of the sneaker, whose surface is made of a flexible mesh.

Printed onto the insole is black Nike Air text, an effect which is repeated on the smooth leather of the heel panel. Here, the branding is embroidered across the heel, where it stands out against the off-white tone behind it. Meanwhile, the flanks are adorned with two-tone swooshes. The centre portion of each is made up of white tumbled leather, and the outline is a thick black line of embroidery that forges a dynamic, eye-catching aesthetic to round out the look.
