Nike Air Force 1 '07

The mostly white exterior of this Air Force 1 ‘07 is scattered with a series of colourful features that forge an eye-catching design. Summit White covers everything from the smooth leather panels of the upper to the sole unit. This last section is split into two components, an outsole with pivot-circle grip patterns and a midsole with encapsulated Air in the heel. While the former lends the shoe excellent traction via tread formations that were designed to facilitate the twists and turns of a basketball game, the latter brings comfort through a plush combo of foam and Air.

The upper features a pair of crisp overlays, one in the forefoot, the other wrapping around the heel, either side of midfoot panels that are adorned with vivid swooshes. These large Nike logos have powerful Photo Blue across the central tumbled leather portion and artfully embroidered edges in Summit White. This compelling colour scheme repeats elsewhere on the shoe, including the front of the eyestay, where a tiny Photo Blue swoosh has been sewn into the white leather. Below this, in the toe box, ventilation holes add breathability along with an intriguing aesthetic through the fan-like pattern they have been crafted into.

Elsewhere, the white mesh tongue has a square-shaped patch sewn into it. Upon it is a set of Nike Air branding in Photo Blue above a Safety Orange swoosh and a final line of text that reads “Air Force 1”. The words “Nike Air” also appear in blue along the white insole, which has a pleasantly dimpled surface. Rounding off this classic shoe is a third and final set of branding text that has been embroidered into the white heel panel, once more in Photo Blue, for a bold finish.
