This pair of Nike Air Force 1 High ‘07 x Billie Eilish sneakers achieves a bold look through the use of a single memorable tone and a range of quirky features. The compelling colour which covers the design is a light beige called Mushroom. Textural variation alters how this hue appears, with the Nike Grind rubber of the cupsole giving it a slightly darker tone than the smooth synthetic nubuck leather which spreads across the upper. Meanwhile, the outsole is flecked with tiny black spots, highlighting the use of recycled materials as part of its sustainable construction.

The high collar is supported with extra padding for softness, and an ankle strap with a hook-and-loop closure system keeps the foot securely in place. Within the shoe, the spongy insole comes in an off-white colour that has a marbled effect running through it. Printed atop this feature is a graphic that honours the powerful collaboration via a swoosh and the text “X Billie Eilish” in capitalised black letters. More distinctive branding can be seen on the moulded lace dubrae, which is embossed with the singer’s unique Blohsh logo.

Elsewhere, the heel panel, which loops over the rear part of the ankle strap and tucks into the collar, has been carefully embroidered with Nike Air branding. Swooshes extend from beneath either side of this panel to reach down the flanks of the sneaker. The most prominent feature to adorn the shoe is the series of straps resting over the top of the laces. Consisting of four in total, these Velcro-fastened straps forge a one-of-a-kind appearance while also giving the wearer the confidence of a comfortable fit and a steady step.
